Exactly 30 years ago today (how could I ever forget!) Scientology sent themselves the first of two bomb threats and claimed I did it in an attempt to frame me.
Now, as I'm catching up on posts here, I read that they're still claiming that their enemies are supposedly making threats against them --only now, instead of by mail, it's e-mail. *
Progress.

I remember William Barwell ending most of his messages with
Remember Paulette Cooper!!!
Remember Paulette Cooper!!!
Remember Paulette Cooper!!!
I said to myself who the heck is Paulette Cooper? I soon found out. The story is still absolutely incredible to me. Amazed, I started learning more about this cult and every day was another jaw dropper. I was astounded, I'm still here, and I'm not planning to go anywhere. Anyone who hasn't seen documents such as Operation Freakout has an eyefull coming. Seriously, check it out.

It happened to me. Several bogus posts were done in my name on an
authors message board. The FBI contacted me some months later and told
me they had been notified of the threats and had read my immediate
refutation on the same message board. They also told me that the
messages were posted from near Tampa, FL. They are not only still
attempting to frame critics - they are worse at it than they have ever been.
Cheers,
Queso
Yes, I was named along with 2 other critics as potential perpetrators of a "firebombing" that took place at the Palm Springs, FL mission in March of this year. It didn't matter that I have never even been to the town, and had no idea that the mission even existed. When asked by the police who might "have a problem" with them, the Scientologists gave our names.
Reality has nothing to do with it. Portraying critics as bombers or anything similarly negative has everything to do with it.
Anyone else see a pattern here?

"Your" web pages ay holysmoke.org still get a few hundred "hits" a month, so people are certainly interested in GO/OSA's activities.

Yes. Barb had a visit from law enforcement concerning imaginary "e-mail". If I understand her correctly, her visitors didn't see copies of this "e-mail" and only had GO/OSA's word that they had received said "e-mail." GO/OSA used to have to actualy fabricate threats against them on paper: now they need only pick up the telephone and phone them in!
El Queso Allstars also was framed for "making threats," and was visited by law enforcement. This was on a cgi web page that ANYONE with a web browser could have posted on.
Mark bunker--- "tresspassing" on a city sidewalk, framed for "a hate crime." Exculpatory evidence was STOLEN BY CHICAGO POLICE in the employ ($,$$$,$$$.cc) of Scientology Inc.
Keith Henson--- framed for three crimes, none of which occured. At the prosecution's table was the Gambino family's (mafia) lawyer.
Bob Minton--- framed for "battery and assault," wherein the "victim" flung himself at Minton's feet and "passed out." All caught on tape, planned AND DRILLED FOR before Minton even arrived.
Tory Christman--- "tresspassing" by sitting in a "Santa's Chair" at Christmas.
The sinister Scientology business claims "We don't do this kind of stuff anymore.... and we never did!"

It did work on you, after all. If the FBI had not raided the criminal enterprise, you would have died years ago.... either in prison or in a mental health ward somewhere. GO/OSA uses whatever they think the FBI will believe.
