A week ago, an arsian asked:
1) These excerpts intimate that the FBI had, at least by 1977 if not earlier, informants or agents inside Scientology...
No, they were talking to people who HAD been in Scientology in 1972-1973 but had left.. and a few still in it who gave them a tiny bit of information. Most refused, like Charles Batdorf, who even went to jail claiming a (non-existent) 1st amendment privilege
2) I wonder if the FBI ever discussed with you whether or not they had infiltrated the Church of Scientology?
I desperately hoped they would but they said they couldn't because of their concerns if it came out that they were infiltrating a "Church." (Similar to the problems the FBI has now with mosques which they're afraid to infiltrate even when they know that terrorism is being discussed/planned.) 3) Is there any chance you can recall exactly who within the Church of Scientology was co-operating with the FBI in this fashion?
No, this came from their seized papers and didn't have a name attached.
