I have a 14 year old daughter who been diagnosed with o.d.d.I have tried every thing to help her.Every therapist i take her to will not treat her because she refuses treatment. I have had her evaluated by a physiatrist which sugguested medication to control her anger. My daughter refuses to take medication so he wont treat her. I had my daughter put in the court system to help control her and force her into treatment.I had her arrested for domestic violence. She did 6 days in jail for contempt of court rather than go to court ordered therapy. After 6 months of probation we are back to square one. Do you have any suggestions on anything different we can try.

I suggest you look on the internet for information on attachment disorders. If it fits then find an attachment disorder therapist and see how they suggest you handle this situation.
You might also read Tough Love books and find a Tough Love support group.
I am glad you let her go to jail for contempt of court. If she was older I would say tell her she goes to therapy or she moves out..... but 14 seems so young for that.
The attachment disorder people are my best suggestion.
I can't imagine she would be willing to take the medication any more than she is willing to go to therapy. If she is you might want to go ahead and use the medication. That might put her in a state where she is more manageable and then you can insist she go to therapy. When she has completed her therapy she will be able to stop the medication.
