Dear kasparov00,I wouldn't dare diagnose anyone with ADD,nor ANY psychiatric disorder.Diagnosis must be reserved for a psychiatrist or psychologist(the latter is not a M.D. and cannot treat with medication. However,I believe the most successful treatment comes from both behavioral therapy(psychologist) and medication intervention if warranted(psychiatrist).Poor recall can be a symptom of many maladies ranging from an ordinary stressor to a physical problem. You would benefit from seeking an opinion from a specialist. What other symptoms do you experience that are problematic for you? Something tells me there are other issues troubling you.Tell me more and perhaps I can help.Good Luck.

Hi kasparov00.It pains me to know of another human being victimized as a child(or at any age for that matter).Of course,a person can sustain neurological damage if beaten severely.Top this off with inevitable psychological trauma of abuse and problems can be severe. There can be help out there for you in this weary old world, with many good people whom also happen to be well trained in their humanitarian professions.Again,I highly suggest you seek help, but first rule out any neurological damage by seeing a neurologist.Tell me what you decide.
