when people are in relationships, sometimes jealously becomes an ugly byproduct. do you think jealously is a trait we humans are born with or is it a learned trait?

Both. This is not a scientific fact, but personally I feel that we are born with every emotion ready at our disposal and we choose what to use based on society's acceptance. For example jealousy is a very common feeling that we would use more often because it is used frequently rather than going through with the urge to kill someone. In relationships, jealousy can be good because it is a healthy feeling, if you weren't jealous of something that would mean you might be a little over confident. But it is bad when it goes to the extreme. As when, your significant other constantly needs to know who you're with and what you're doing. They are jealous that you are doing more than they are. I think you would know when there is too much jealousy in the relationship, then its time to get out. Hope this helped!
