Is it possible for a man to love a woman and care nothing about his own mother? If he can't help her out when she needs it, will he be able to help me? And my second question is: Why do most black atheletes turn to white women instead of their own race? I'm not prejudice, but all women are not money hungry.

I don't see how its possible to love another woman and don't love the woman who brought you into this world!
Let me tell you this, there had to be some major conflict between (mother and son) them to make him treat her that way, so think on it like this, if he can turn on his own flesh and blood (the woman who carried his ass-Excuse me) then he wouldn't think once about neglecting responsiblities with you and helping you out. Because back to this point, what could make a man that mad to just cast his mother to the side? Be careful. Course, it seems as though you are pretty wise, you recognized this :)
Addressing those Afro-American athletes, way, way, way, way back in the days people recognized white people as being the purest people that walk the face of this earth and they placed their white women on pedastals over Afro-American women. This stereotype obviously, has resurrected in today's society. These athletes become men of clout and status and then they have to go for who they think is superior. That's is their own sick thinking; they'll have to reap what they sow (look at O.J).
