Men:
In most of your responses there is an indication that in acts other than making love, there is no emotional involvement. Is this what you really feel? You see, when I am kissed romantically, I am involved emotionally. When I am involved in the depths of passion, the words I utter are emotional unless I have no soul! That is who we are as women I believe. How could we offer of ourselves so freely without also sharing our emotional being? Thoughts on this are deeply appreciated.

This goes back to the differences between men and women. Before we're born, men have testosterone released into our brains, and it severs many of the connections between the halves of our brain, so that we cannot use both sides of our brain in concert very well.
There are advantages and disadvantages to this. The advantage is that we aren't confused by our emotions as often, and we can make very rational and logical decisions. It also allows us to deal with the abstract better, and lets us focus and compartmentalize life.
This is also, however, the disadvantage, in that we aren't in touch with our emotions as much, so we don't experience emotion with every action, even including kissing. To men, love is as much or more a committment and a rational decision and the resulting actions that are necessary for one in love as it is an emotional reaction.
And it's not a case of not having a soul, either. The soul consists of more than the emotions, it contains the rational self and the will, as well.
Something that guys frequently think women are without. *grin*
Is that clearer?
God bless
