What are the solutions of sex harrasment?
auck gave this response on 5/7/2000:
A short question that nobody has found the answer too. This is because what is sexual harrassment to one individual may be perfectly "normal" to another.
If you take the simple definition that sexual harrassment is "UNWELCOME" behaviour as opposed to maybe just embarrassing then the answer is to teach self respect to people. This coupled with the teaching of "respect for others in all forms" would not stop embarrasing situations from arising but would stop them developing into harrassment which is the aim of the exercise I guess. This same logic applies to inter-racial and international problems as well.
Anyway I think that self respect would stop all of us doing things that cause pain to others.
