Can a teacher be harassed by an adult student? Can an employer be responsible for knowing about harassment and doing little or nothing to stop it? yes, i think that a teacher can be harassed by an adult student. harassment is something very common in society today until it is unreal.with the teacher and student; it all depends on what the student did or said or even maybe the way that he/she looked at the teacher.anytime you make any kind of sexual suggestions or make comments about a persons body parts; that's a little too far, but an employer knows what sexual harassment is and nine times out of ten,he/she knows when it going on.never take any kind of abuse like that from anyone. if someone says something to you that offends you, let that person know and let them know that if it happens again that you will get help.most of the time you can tell your overall supervisor or better yet; an officer and a lawyer.
