It took me slightly over a year to locate the EEOC office and file a claim against an employer. (I was just not able to think about it for a while). Now I find out that if a complaint is over 300 days, EEOC won't even consider it. if you had a actual loss, one that can be measured in money, then you have civil actions that an attorney can file for you.
But there you most likely will only get damages, not penetys against the firm or changes in the firm.
May I ask why so long to find office?
They have offices in most major cities, postors for them in almost every work place
and if on the net, available there also?
