Hopefully you have read my first question so I wont have to go into that again. I just wanted to address what most of you suggested for me to do. Have any of you stayed at a shelter? Most kick you out after a couple weeks. How do you get your life started over in a couple weeks? The conditions are unbareable. Also as far going to the law for help, his dad is the police chief of our tiny town. Have you heard of the good ole boys? Thats what I live with. I know I have to get away from this man, but how?

You have gotten tons of answers. I usually try to read them all before I answer that way you don't get sick of reading the same ole thing.
"Sometimes you can't see the trees through the forest" In otherwords things are so bad you can't tell the good from the bad and so on.
I would strongly encourage you to seek the assistance of the church, ANY church at this point. If you have one, great. If you don't, look for one with a female minister. If there is one several miles away call and ask the minister to meet you. (There are going to be some male ministers mad at me now but you need "help" and not a "Reverend") Either way the church will help you out. If the first church you go to just wants to pray with you then go to the next one. There are ministers out there that understand prayer is nice but action is what is needed. Find him/her!
The church and some cities (large and small) have funds for you to be able to eat, sleep (motel) and possibly get your feet on the ground. They also have gas money. Ask for "Ministerial Association Funds".
Lastly, you need to have plan A and plan B. One of those plans needs to be that you will ask your family for help. If they turn you down then go to the backup plan. Please do this!!! You will regret it later if you don't give them a chance. Also, if the church asks if you have tried to get some funds on your own you can tell the truth, yes you tried.
Best wishes!
