Hopefully you have read my first question so I wont have to go into that again. I just wanted to address what most of you suggested for me to do. Have any of you stayed at a shelter? Most kick you out after a couple weeks. How do you get your life started over in a couple weeks? The conditions are unbareable. Also as far going to the law for help, his dad is the police chief of our tiny town. Have you heard of the good ole boys? Thats what I live with. I know I have to get away from this man, but how?

I remember when I was younger, and my Mother, left my step father. She went to a shelter, and I think she went through the Red Cross, to get the information. This shelter offered her to go back to school, and they would also help you find a job. Your children, could stay there, and they had daycare if needed. I think you should call the Red Cross, or The crisis center, for some more info. This is totaly conf. and no one will find out where your staying unless you tell them, not even the police, unless you have charges against you, and I'm sure you don't. There is help out there for you, and your kids, it's just a matter of picking up the phone. I wish you luck, and may God, bless you, and your family.
