Is it ever o.k. to have someone hit you? I know it is a stupid question but it's like I know certain things are going to piss my boyfriend off but sometimes I feel like I should be able to do whatever I want. I know that if I talk back or cuss at him that he might slap me in my mouth but sometimes I still do it.Does that make since? And the other stupid part is have the time I find myself saying sorry for him hitting me. I'm not stupid, actully I'm a straigt A college student. I even tell myself that I'm not going to do anything to piss him off but sometimes I still do. Don't tell me to get away from him, because I love him and I feel lonely without him but I just want him to treat me better. I want him to stop yelling at me, I don't like being scared of my boyfriend and I hate that almost everyone knows that he has hit me before. But I do not want to loss him. I don't think he would ever hurt me hurt me. Maybe scare me leave a couple of marks but not kill me. I know it sounds stupid but I really do believe it's true. They say you can't change those who don't want to be changed so what can I do to make it right?

You are a straight A college student and you really expect to get some other answer EXCEPT for the one you know for a fact is the right answer. Yes your boyfriend my scar you but he may also loose his temper one day so bad that he either kills you or you end up in the hospital. I too aam a coolege student and my husband is a straight A studt and he is verbally and physically abusive. I know for a fact that he is not going to change as long as I let him get away with it. The stupid part is that my major is Criminal Justice minor Ssociology and he has a double major in History and Communications. My whole point is that he needs counseling oe its going to get worse over time. You may love him but if he really loved YOU he would not put hands on you. You may not like my answer but it`s the correct answer. There is NEVER and I do repeat NEVER a reason for ANYONE to hit another person.Im wondering if he is also a college student. It could be a mtter that you get better grades then he does. That can fuel jealousy. In my case my husband throws up his grades in my face becuase I tend to get c`s but I have some A`s. I am thinking about this and the conclusion that I can come up with is if you do not want to hear these things you can go to the women`s center at your college and talk with a counselor there. It is totally confidential. They can at least talk to you and guide in the right direction, that is what they are here for. Good luck and Let me know if I can help you at all.
