okay he's my question i left my boyfiend for two weeks stright and then one day me and my friend was in the his car the friends car and he was crying and saying that he would never hit me angain then he left me but he did not want anybody elese he wanted just me in his life but i went back to him the third time around what should i do should i learn to trust him and think things will be okay this time or what?????????????

It has been my experience that once an abuser, always an abuser, unless they have a lot of counseling and, even then, it is a questionable situation.

What I see from your question is the pattern that most, if not all, abusers use. They strike out, they say they are sorry and are good for a while, then they repeat the cycle.

Hope this has helped you somewhat. Something that might help more is going to a domestic violence shelter and talking to some of the people there to get an idea for yourself what I am talking about.
