I have a boyfriend, we have been together a year now, and I love him very much, but there is just something I am not sure about, this is a problem, let me explain, Everytime that I have money, I like to buy myself something nice, but when he knows this he asks for something too, he will pick something like a child in a candy store, I tell him I was going to buy me something with it, he says"It is only $50, besides I gave you money last time to spend, and I'm taking you to dinner. But for some reason I always have to give money. I hate this, what can I do??? Any help will be appreciated.

First off I would like to say that if you are in a serious relationship and all he does is ask for money, does he work? And if so does he help you out with money, gifts, etc. As many know, sometimes sharing says everything in a relationship.
If he is not working and only using you for your money then I suggest you convince him to get a job, and make money of his own.
Also, in any relationship you get into, the other partner will have times where they will ask you to purchase something for them, this is normal. And if you really feel bothered by this, tell him so. You must be honest in all relationships. If this does not work, then don't let him know your shopping, or such. But in order to do this you would not be giving 100% to him, as then you would be sneaking and being dishonest as to where you are or are going to.
It may have to come down , that if you feel you need to be dishonest then maybe its time to look into your future with him. Because every new day is a new day in your relationship of the future.
Its a tough choice, but, I hope you can be honest and open with him, and yourself.
