If I had insulted you, you would have known it throughly. I am a PTSD service connected Nam vet. I used as much tact as I could to control my anger and frustration with the likes of you and your kind.

As you will see in the followup answer which I let my wife write, I was being nice.

It is an insult to my dignity to share the title of expert with someone like you and others. Myself and others are on this site to try to help others to the best of our ability. However, when I read some of the degrading things that you write in the form of counseling to those in need of help, I feel that what others have told me is true. That is that this site is rigged and everyone here is out for their own personal glory, not to help any one else except their friends.

I have spent my 51 years trying to help others in whatever way I could. I am now totally disabled because of the stress it put on my life.

I was asked to come to this site by someone I highly respect, because of my abilities to deal with most aspects of counseling. If you have taken the time to read some of my answers, maybe you can understand my abilities and learn about counseling. I am not saying that I am something special, just that I know what I am doing. I have been highly trained to do it.

You have your expertise in mechanical things. My espertise is in human relations and health care. I feel that you and others should stay in your fields and I will stay out of yours.

I don't understand why your so mad at my question, it wasn't meant to harm, i'm just trying to understand this problem,I trying to help these people, which is what i do everyday. i'm not trying fight with you, what do you mean by the likes of me, you don't even know me

Cap'n....again, don't take 'snowbird' personal. There is a lot of confusion and disassociation there yet. It is not really directed toward you. One thing that I see which has not quite been understood by 'snowbird' yet, is that there are millions who have undergone as much or more trauma and that their's is not unique in that respect. However, that does not make their case any less important either. In a forum like this, you must be ready and willing to receive any type response. Please, do not let this deter you from asking genuine questions. Personally, I thought it very good that you asked your question into 'why'. Asking is one of the Paths of Communication. tcsmpsi
