Unfortunately, you have everything to worry, not just for yourself, but for the children as well. An adult should not throw tantrums like that, and it is definitely a sign of a larger problem. If he comes right out and TELLS you he'd hit you, he probably will. The time is now to split with him, before the situation gets worse for all involved parties. Get some counselling at the women's shelter nearest you. They will be most helpful in getting you back on your feet, and they can also help steer you in the right direction for housing, financial planning, and other skills you might need to get on track.
