Would like to know where someone can get a list of resources for abuse women for every state. I'm mainly looking for places and things women would do when they first get out of an abuse releationship. Thanks for all your help.

You can call 1-800-663-4443 and tell them what you are looking for. You can also call your local prosecuting attorney's office and ask if they have a victim's advocate program. A lot of states coordinate services at the local level in the prosecutor's office. Since the prosecutor's usually present these cases, it seems to work better and services are coordinated better when this approach is used. Also contact your local shelter, they usually have access to other resources across the country. Good luck and thanks for asking your question! courtneysmom
