In the last few years I have noticed that men have become abusive towards women. It is not only in one race but in all. What is the explanation of this behavior?

Maybe i'm a little late in answering this question, but let me take a shot.
I don't think that domestic violence is something that is now just surfacing. It has been around forever (the very first crime in recorded history was a homicide, brother against brother....know what I'm referring to?). It is my observation that before society begins to realize the need to solve a problem, it is first recognized by society via the media. Remember a few years ago, the big story was drunken driving, MADD, etc. It was then that society took a stand, and enforcement against DUI started in earnest. Now domestic violence is in the forefront. Hopefully this will have an effect, and you will begin to see a decline. I am pessimistic about that though, because first our civlization has to realize that violence in general is unacceptable. Until that happens, it will still have a place in the home- between parents, parents vs. kids, and kids taking their aggressive behavior into the streets and schools. Stem the tide, go to PTO, Neighborhood Watch, get the message out that crime and violence is not welcome in your town, neighborhood, or home. That's where it all starts....
