YOU HAVE A WHOLE LOT TO FEAR MY DEAR. If you can't get him into therapy, get out of this relationship as fast as you can. There is no excuse for abuse and that is what he is doing to you; abusing you. He is controlling you through his own behavior. His tantrums are designed to scare the shit out if you because that way he's the boss. Don't think for a single minute that he won't hit you, because he will. Get out.
