The school knows about it and says they are handling the situation. The student had been suspended but has returned to class. All the kids are afraid of the girl. My daughter comes home everyday crying and telling me she is afraid. How do we handle this?Should we pull her out of school? This student has picked on my daughter as well as others on a weekly basis. We appreciate any advice, thank you., A student in my child's class has threatened to kill another student and blow up the school. You and the parents of any other child who is being picked on MUST force the principal to do more than what has been done. If you get no satisfaction by calling the principal, go in to speak with him. If that doesn't work, go to the school board. And if htat doesn't work, tell the school board you're going to go to the media. Just make sure that before you go to the media, you have all your facts straight. Do NOT name the child or the child's family-- this could land you in a lot of legal hotwater. Chances are, you won't need to go to the media-- the threat of negative publicity should be enough to get them to take some action. If that doesn't work, consult with an attorney about filing a harrasment lawusit and naming the school's principal, the school district and its board as defendents.
