The school knows about it and says they are handling the situation. The student had been suspended but has returned to class. All the kids are afraid of the girl. My daughter comes home everyday crying and telling me she is afraid. How do we handle this?Should we pull her out of school? This student has picked on my daughter as well as others on a weekly basis. We appreciate any advice, thank you., A student in my child's class has threatened to kill another student and blow up the school. Wow what a terrible thing your daughter is going through. She has every right to the fear of this girl. And if you feel that the school is not handling the problem correctly then I advice you to go to the schools district, and make sure that they to are aware of it. Also does the community know of this. If not I would inform the media of it. I would make it so well known that the school becomes the spot light as to how to handle the situation. I also would allow your daughter to stay at home until the problem is resolved, and or change schools. Even if your daughter is not in the right district for a different school, you can appeal it by reason of threat. You want to make sure your daughter is safe and feels safe, and in the other hand you have to help her to move forward from such a traumatic experience. If your daughter is having a difficult time with this, have her speak to the school counselors as well. Remember make it publicly known and then the school will work harder and faster to solve the problem.
