Sounds to me like the school isn't doing their jobs. My brother-in-law (15 years old) went to school one morning with a 1-1/2 inch pocket knife in his watch pocket of his pants. He discovered it when he got on the bus. Instead of giving it to the bus driver. he went on to school and showed it to one of his classmates. The police were called, he spent the night in YDC, had to stay home with an ankle bracelet on his leg and was monitored 24 hors a day. He went back to school but has suffered for his mistake. There are legal ways to protect your daughter. You should contact the school board and present your daughters' delimma to them in a timely manner. The girl that is threatning her classmates should be handled by the law. This is indeed a crime. All children should have a safe place in which to learn. Please fix this problem before it affects your child emotionally was well as morally. She deserves a good, safe education. I'm sure it is affecting her learning capacities. Fear among students should not even be allowed to enter the school doors, although it is raging in our schools. Talk with your child often and keep her emotionally apt to handle such situations as this. I would definitely contact anyone and eveyone who will listen. Problems such as these should be not be taken lightly.
