The school knows about it and says they are handling the situation. The student had been suspended but has returned to class. All the kids are afraid of the girl. My daughter comes home everyday crying and telling me she is afraid. How do we handle this?Should we pull her out of school? This student has picked on my daughter as well as others on a weekly basis. We appreciate any advice, thank you., A student in my child's class has threatened to kill another student and blow up the school. Have you contacted your local police department? If not, please do so. This is an ever-growing concern. Unfortunately, the schools are still taking these daily threats too lightly. These are growing in epidemic proportions in all schools all across the country. Basically, most school's stance on this is that until something actually happens, they can not really do anything. Find out your school board members and contact them. Be adamant about it, because the 'do nothing' attitude runs very deep, and if possible, you will be 'sheep herded' away from the real subject, Child Safety. In the Protection Industry, schools are a high risk environment, and should be treated as such. Unfortunately, taking your child out is everyone's easy answer as it would 'solve' all their problems. Whether it is by another child or not, the bottom line is that your child and others are being terrorized. Please let me know if you would like to discuss this further.
