In the last few years I have noticed that men have become abusive towards women. It is not only in one race but in all. What is the explanation of this behavior?

I feel alot of this abuse, especially by younger men and women also stem from several factors. We are constantly desensitized to violence on tv. Every chanel, even the news. The goreyer the details and pictures the higher the ratings. I had my cable shut off. And some of it comes from society, having single parent families, extended families and such. Some comes from the music our children listen to today. I was in shock at the music my 12 year old daughter listens too! Now I monitor what she listens too and I talk to her openly and honestly about that music and how it is sending out wrong signals. Sex, rape, death, incest. And generally people have nothing to do, frustration builds until they vent it on some innocent person. And alot of it stems from substance abuse by the abuser. Until we elect officials that are going to enact the laws and come down hard on violence and domestic violence we are sending the abusers the message that this is ok to do. In reality, there is no excuse for domestic violence, except that the law allows it.
