In the last few years I have noticed that men have become abusive towards women. It is not only in one race but in all. What is the explanation of this behavior?

This is not a new problem. It's been happening since the beginning of time, but because of the views of society it has been kept behind closed doors. Men have made women too afraid to do anything about it and the laws were such that our Police Force couldn't do anything about it because it was considered to be a family matter. Also, there have been more police officers shot in the line of breaking up domestic violence than anything else. The laws now state that if law enforcement is called due to domestic violence then charges have to be pressed and they cannot be dropped. This is a fairly new law. Abuse by men is just now being made public. Women now know that they do have protection and it's not an embarrassment but a violation to them. They did nothing to deserve this type of treatment. Also, to some degree, women are now becoming more aggressivethan they were in past years and this is something that few men can tolerate. It's also a pattern that's passed down from one generation to another like a legacy except now it's being made public where before, like I said, it was kept behind closed doors.
