Some of my friends have read Silver Ravenwolf Books and have even been to her teachings and during her spells she stomps her foot to "set" the spell Do any of you do that? has it seem to help out...

Dear Dream_Weaver,
In my humble opinion: I find that making any distinct sound at the end of a rite is good. You could stomp you foot, clap your hands, ring a bell, strike a gong, beat a drum, whatever. This should be done in a very defnite and distinct manner - so you wouldn't drum on the drum - you would strike it quite distinctly once, or three times pausing between each beat. The same with clapping - you would not applaud - you would strike your hands together once or if the number three is important - as it is in Celtic Trads - three times but pausing between each impact.
I think this final action accompanied by a sound does two things. First, it signals to the deities and elementals gathered that the rite is done and that they may prepare to leave the circle. Second, it sends you a signal that you have done it. That the rite is ended and that the energies you generated during the ritual are now released into the world to do their work.
