Some of my friends have read Silver Ravenwolf Books and have even been to her teachings and during her spells she stomps her foot to "set" the spell Do any of you do that? has it seem to help out...

Devices such as stomping, clapping, blowing out the breath, these are all quite common ways to "send out". Whatever works for you. As I live in an apartment, my neighbors wouldn't like the stomping bit very much. Blowing out a candle is a very common one.
