Merry Meet!
I'd like to ask 3 things.
1.) I've been going through a lot or Wicca sites and I noticed something. The Elements attributed to South and West are sometimes mixed up. South - Fire West - Water or South - Water West - Fire Are these different ways? Then why? Or maybe they're just mistakes?
2.) What's purification and how's it done?
3.) What do the degrees mean?
Thanks, I'll rate all answers.

Hello: First, as far as the fdirections go, everyone does it basically their own way. The major issue with wicca is there is no set standard, for anything. Each individual, each coven, and each tradition all have thier own way of doing things.
Purification, once more to each thier own. I personally use sage, with a sacred fan, gently wafting it all over my body.
Dregees, each coven amd tradition has its own, but generally they mean, the level of magic, or the level of witch you are. Degrees in reality, unless you are in a coven, don't really mean a thing. The only degrees that really count are maiden, mother crone
Hope this hellps
