I've been studying religions and faiths for about ten years. I've pretty much got who believes in what. Wicca however, still seems to be "calling" me. The problem is I live in a country in which that kind of "religion" is not very easy to study. Brazil is a majorly catholic nation and, trust me, I've looked, but I haven't found any covens much less anyone to talk to about this. How do I start out in this solitary path? Is there any basic literature I should read? How do I know that wicca is really "right" for me? Are only people of nordic ascent capable of the practice? If anyone out there can help.... I'll be truly grateful :) Thanks!!

You should be able to buy books on line. My two favorite authors are Scott Cunningham and Silver Raven Wolf. Anything that you can find by these guys will be worth reading. The fact that Wicca is calling to you is a good sign that it might be for you. Read a couple of books and you will know if it feels right, at least that's how it happened for me. I read Scott Cunningham's book Earth Power and I knew then that I had found my path in life. Silvermoon2 named some good titles to read. You should be able to find a good Wiccan chat room on line somewhere. I use to know a couple but I haven't been to them on a while. Good luck on your journey.
Merry part. (:K
