I was always taught that a true Neo-pagan is polytheistic, monotheistic, agnostic, and atheist, all rolled up into one paradoxical package. More often than not I have found this to be the case. After all, I have met Christian Wiccans, and even Catholic Wiccans.

well, after reading your responses to others' posts, minerva, i THINK i understand what you are saying. my answer is this - there is no right or wrong answer...that's the thing about wicca. if you are familiar at all with the Brahman concept in Hinduism, it's alot like that. polytheistic and monotheistic all at once...*L* yes, it can seem a bit paradoxical at times, can't it? :)
now, about Christian Wiccans, i think perhaps you mean Christian Witches? as in only dealing with the magickal/divining aspects of our spiritual path. i, personally, don't think that the bible or the Church allows much magickal practice and i know that they don't allow worship of any other god/dess, only their One. So, that's why i think the better term here would be witch [and that's prolly still a bit of a stretch]. hope you found that useful!
In love and light, -Adara

Nope, I had these people in my coven, and I can tell you that is exactly what they are. They've adopted the philosophical side (as opposed to the magical side) of the lifestyle. (I told them nobody in the community would believe me when I said it... LOL)
