I don't mean to insult you or anything. I do believe that we all have the right to choose what we each believe. You don't believe in God, because He is invisible? Do you not believe in Him because you can't tounch, or feel Him. That's totally not a reason to not believe. If God shows Himself, so everyone can see Him, you know the majority of the population would believe in Him then. He doesn't want that, He wants us to decide on Faith, not by sight. Jesus/God has showed Himself to me in many ways. He has given His word to everyone. It's called the Bible, but you decide if you want to hear His word. God created us, He created everything. If we evolved from monkeys, why did we stop evolving. Would not we still be slowly changing into some other being. I belive that it is WAY easier to believe that God created everything. I know that His word is true. If you read the bible, which you may have, you will know that everything that has been spoken has come to pass. A thousand years before Jesus was born, it was written that He would be born. I know God is real, I have prayed to Him and recieved what I ask for. Not because I'm any more important to Him than anyone else, but I had faith in Him to answer my prayer. He wants you to decide by faith, to follow Him. I mean, don't you think He knows that if He appears in front of you, that you will believe. He doesn't want that. I have never seen Him phisically, but yes, I have felt Him on more than one occassion. I'm not trying to judge you, nor change your mind, I'm just stating facts that I know to be true from experience. But I say: Wanna hear God? Read the bible! Wanna see God? Have faith! Wanna feel God? Praise His name! Want help from God? Pray to Him and have trust in Him You may not believe, because you have prayed before, or because you thought you trusted Him enough, but If it works for me it can work for you. Also, we "want" things to benefit us, but the bible says, everything we do should be for Jesus sake. We need to pray for things "to benefit Christ". Now my question...
How can you deny the truth, how can you deny God based on science and sight and not on faith. HOW CAN YOU DENY WHAT IS SO CLEARLY TRUE?

First, I never said I didn't believe in god because he was invisible. The Goddess and Gods aren't visible either. I believe in love. I believe in the Earth under my feet. I believe in my child. I believe in my husband. I believe in myself. Those are my believes.
Yes, I have read the Bible. In fact, I have studied it. I have a degree in religion, ALL religions. I believe each person in the world had their own belief system. Budda, Hindu, Babtists, Lutherns, Catholics, Wicca, Druids, Pagan.
The name of the religion is that..A Name. The love of a religion is Love, Respect, Honesty for self and others, and Understanding that Mankind has the Right and the Truth to be Free to believe in whatever Relgion they want to. It is in the constitution. It is written in the Bible. It is written in the hearts and souls of men..If they want to listen to their hearts and souls.
Besides my religion, it is also part of my nationality to have a different believe system they yours or others involved in the christian religions. I am Indian. Would you deny that my race is wrong in their believes? It is very close to the Wicca/Pagan/Druid ways. I do not call myself Wiccan. Wiccan is a modern title for the oldest religion on the earth.
You do know there is a passage in the bible where a king calls for the witch to foretell the outcome of a war...and do you remember what he did when she was correct?
I like to remind people that many humans were "Murdered" for the rights of the bible. Not just people who believe in the Wicca Path. But hundreds and thousands of Jewish people. Thousands of Indians. Thousands of people who lived in Russia, Germany (not just Jewish)also Polish, Turks, Asians and so many more. Most wars on this earth were in the name of the Church. Read the history. Look through the eras of 1200's, 1300's and all the way till today.
As a professional scholar, I also can give you numbers of children that were murdered for the sake of the bible. Here is one that happened right here in the United States... During the 1920's a child at the age of five was tortured, maimed and eventually died of malnutrion and beatings because the parents were upset that the child could not say her prayers correctly. They believed the child was evil because the bible says that the child was disrespectful and dishonored them and the "good word". and another example.. In a small town in Germany, over 500 woman, children and men were murdered because they were accused of being witches. One child was ten months old, but because she took her hand off the bible, she was accused of being a witch and was burned to death. I do not believe in the evolution of monkeys myself. That is a scientific version of reality...but that is their right to believe so and i will not discredit them by saying they are wrong, because I do not have that Right to say they are wrong and I am right.
I am only one grain of sand on the beach. But this grain has an open heart and an open mind to all of of mankind. I am faithful to my husband and I was a virgin till our marriage night. (and I was in my late twenties) I do not lie to others. I do not gossip. I do not slander. I pay my bills. I put food on the table for my family. I respect my life and my family and my earth. I do not throw garbage onto the streets. I go to the hospital and listen to people and yes, i have read the bible to those that have asked me. My family goes to the parks here in town and clean them up. I watch children at the Luthern church so that the mothers can have their meetings and yes, they know what I believe and respect me for it. I talk with the Rabbi here in town and we are good friends. My neighbor is a minister and I help his daughter with homework sometimes by letting her use my computer and they know what I do, in fact, they have even come over and celebrated Samhain with me this pass year because they thought it was beautiful that I respect my dead family and friends (and pets) on a day that most people regard as evil. So brightest blessings to you, and I hope you shall open your heart, and your eyes to others different then you are and respect them for being a human being...no matter race, religion or color.
