If you live in New York, I suggest you visit the American Museum of Natural History. I visited the Museum on Dec 15. Evolution is VERY apparent in nature. If you visit the evolution exhibit, you'll be pretty much convinced that evolution is very real and apparent in nature.

Well at this time, christianity is science's major target because in the developed countries, christianity is the only substantial bar to progress. Whenever scientists want to do something, there's some christian fundamentalists making a hue & cry.

The main problem with christians is they're going against their own religion. God himself forbade christians from making a big public display of their religion. Also, in the book of revelations, you see many prophecies saying that all sorts of bad things will happen in this world in the end times. So why are the christians against this? Are christians afraid of the end times?

The above proves beyond a reasonable doubt that the main motivation behind christianity is the fear of death.

1. Religious people believe in religion because they fear death & they want to cover all their bases just in case there is a heaven and hell after death. 2. Religious people fear science because they don't like progress & change. They just want everything to be as it is for ever and ever.

This is why there is such a big hue & cry about GM food in Europe. Take the atom bomb. Ok so a few million people died. If we hadn't used the atom bomb, millions of people would have died in the war anyways and in the bargain, we wouldn't have learned anything about nuclear energy. Half of science is EXPERIMENTATION. Sure.. by getting 'knowledge' from holy-schmoley books, we're not causing any deaths, what's the use if the only 'knowledge' we're getting from these books is CRAP.

Yes science does not need to disprove religion. But I'm not a scientist. I'm just trying to get you people off our scientists' backs. I have a brain and I'm using it. Whatever information I get has to first pass logic tests before I'm gonna believe it. That's why I know that evolution and natural selection are taking place. But religion doesn't pass ANY logic tests whatsoever.

I'm just asking you religious people questions. And none of you seem able to answer them. All I'm getting here is the generic replies 'I have blind faith' or 'god works in mysterious ways'... If you could just listen to yourselves.

I'm not trying to convert anyone. I'm trying to REMOVE religion from you people. There's a difference. Why can't you realize that all religious people are in one category & atheists are in another category? You probably think that 'We christians are the chosen ones and they (hindus, muslims, atheists, buddhists) are not the chosen ones'. But you're totally wrong. All of you, muslims, hindus, christians, jews... you're ALL in the same category & you're ALL wrong.

That is true, except for the Inquisition, which executed over 10 million men, women and even children, in Europe and the colonies that became the US, by hanging or by burning them alive; all in the name of "God".

Your absolutely right! The problem is, when arguing with christian fundamentalists, I sometimes experience some kind of dizziness as if dealing with them at all is corroding my soul. My mind doesn't seem to work properly. Unfortunatlely it's a sacrifice I have to make in the scientific cause.
