I am in the process of putting together a collection of flyers to pass out when I picket the S.F. mission. In this day and age when it is so easy to download and print out ANYTHING on the net I am concerned that in my zeal I may inadvertently violate either copyright laws or a person's right to privacy. If anyone has some simple guidelines that I could follow I would sure appreciate it if they E-mail them to me.
Some of the things I would like to distribute are:
* The TIME magazine articles by Joel Sappell and Robert W. Welkos
* "A Very Brief Overview of Scientology" by Richard J. Ofshe, Ph.D UofC Berkeley
* parts of Margery Wakefield's book "Road to Zenu"
* some of the personal affidavits
I don't intend to pass them out like someone passes out advertisement flyers. I only intend to give them to the people who stop and ask me about $cientology and then only to the few who are really interested in learning MORE. With all the help I've gotten so far I can now usually answer all the person's questions in a minute or two. There have been a few who were more inquisitive and really seemed sincere in getting the full story. These are the people I will be giving my flyers to -- along with a list of additional reference material. I just want to make sure that I am doing the right thing.
Thanks for taking the time to read my post.
