Hi Everyone,
A while back I mentioned that I got audited by the IRS because of the amended tax return I filed. I filed it because of my "contributions" I had made to the Oo$ in 92. A few of you expressed some concern (in private E-mail) that the "tax auditor" that came to my apartment might actually be from $cientology trying to get into my apartment to set me up somehow.
Well, I’m happy to announce that the woman who appeared was exactly who she claimed be. I know because I just received my tax refund in the mail. This woman even called me to make sure that I had actually received it. She even returned the fancy brochure that I had given her (the one that the Oo$ had given me) explaining how most of the money that they extorted out of me was now tax deductible.
What’s even better than all this is the fact that she wrote up a critical report of $cientology and passed it up her supervisor. Her report included many of my stories of the unethical behavior of staff members that I either experienced myself or observed while I was involved in the cult. She even told me that if I EVER get any solid evidence of illegal activity on their part to let her know right away. She said that she would pass it along to those who are VERY interested in that sort of thing. Aaah, it’s nice to have friends in the IRS.
I know that this simple act in no way measures up to the "one-two" punch that Arnie just delivered to the Oo$. It is, however, my current best shot at trying to get my message out about the true nature of $cientology. I figure every little bit I do helps. The more stories about the unethical and illegal things the Oo$ does the more likely they will get their tax exempt status pulled. I hope I just made this dream of mine come a little closer to reality.
