A close relative of mine took the kids to see BE on Friday. He told me it was probably the worst movie he'd ever seen in his life. This is a guy who has made television commercials in the past, goes to every sci-fi release (even the schlocky ones) and his condemnation went to virtually every point in the movie: rotten script, bad SFX, bad acting, cheesy costumes, plot holes so big you could fly a Harrier through them, you name it. He said he was so glad he had talked some friends into going and seeing Gladiator on Friday night, because he couldn't have forgiven himself if they'd gone and seen this piece of garbage. He also says that when he goes to see a sci-fi flick, he's looking for escapism and BE had so many holes, he found it impossible to escape without being brought back to reality because of the sheer stupidity of what he was seeing on the screen. His 12 YO also hated it too.

These are the people that are going to school and work Monday and are going to spread around how BE is a turkey!!!
