"I saw `Battlefield Earth' on Friday . . . dear me, this is almost making me rant about `what have movies come to?' This was an awful, awful movie. I basically spent the entire time wondering if I should think it's funny, and then practically breaking my neck trying to adjust to the crooked visuals that were superfluously strewn across the whole screen. Johnny, Johnny, Johnny, spend less time spreading the Scientology word, and more time making your movie worth its entrance fee. Well, at least I'm five dollars closer to God, right, Hubbard?"
