JABYRD asked this question on 5/31/2000:
we used 1/2" plywood two peices and 1 peice of 1/4" plywood all fiberglassed together with glass and fiber sterns in between each we got it alittle bigger than it was when we took it out.I don't want to change prop but it runs good enough

if it was marine plywood or treated plywood and its now thicker. then you probable added wieght to your stern. personaly i like divina-cell a closed cell urathane foam that when fiberglassed wieghts about 20 % less than the original and is 50% stronger. being you added wieght to your boat i would adjust the angle by adjusting your motor angle to compensate for the wieght. the other fix would be trim tabs to the hull, id stay away from the sharks tails and the others that attach to the lower unit. if you have any other questions please ask.
