I am planning to buy a fishing boat in the near future (small recreational) for lake fishing, since I live nowhere near the ocean. My question is what type of boat would you suggest? Fiberglass, aluminum, etc. It will probably be an older one if that makes any difference. Any suggestions? Thanks

IT MATTERS ON HOW MUCH MONEY YOU WANT TO SPEND.. FIBERGLASS OR ALUMINUM DOSENT REALLY MATTER, JUST A ALUMINUM WILL LAST LONGER, BUT SOMETIMES HAS LEAKS ON THE BUCK RIVITS. WHERE FIBERGLASS IS STRONGER AND HEAVIER BUT NEED MORE HORSE POWER TO PUSH WITH MEANS MORE MONEY...MY OPINION IS TO GO SPEND THE MONEYON A NEW BOAT,START SMALL AND GRADUATE ON UP ,MOST PEOPLE WHO BUY A USED BOAT END UP SPENDING THE SAME AMOUNT IN THE LONG RUN BUT WITH ALOT OF HEADACHES,,AND THESE ARE THE PEOPLE THAT I ANSWER QUESTIONS FOR THE MOST, SO GO NEW YOU WILL BLESS ME LATER..THANKS BRETT
