i don't use the motor much anymore and I have noticed that about two of the cylinders sparkplugs have rust on them when I remove them. the motor runs good, but I think that there may be some water getting in these cylinders.

I think that the key is that you don't use the engine much anymore. But to be on the safe side, it might be a good time to think about a new head gasket. It would be much cheaper to change head gaskets and inspect the head, than to wait and find that you have a much larger problem.
