I am currently looking at an 87 Sea Ray 300 with a flybridge. I am curious of what the value of the boat is. Twin mercury 270's inside redone, air conditioning and the other basic options, fridge, stove, microwave. Also how's the fishing it Fl?

1. Fishin sux right now. We have to go out too far to catch grouper. I live on the gulf coast. 2. Thats a 13 year old boat. You have to decide what it's worth to 'YOU'. Check every single feature. you say the engines were 'redone'. When was that?? How many hours since they were 'redone'? Right now, gas is $2.00 a gal in the marinas here. If your concerned with 'cost to operate', your lookin at a minimum of 22 gallons an hour. So, I'd say, if the boat is 'immaculate' condition, engines with less than 100 hours, since service, 20 to 25 grand. 3. Go to your bank, and tell them you want to finance a used boat, and ask them to look at their boat 'blue book'. That will give you the amount they will finance, and thats a real good indication......... CaptJohn

At first I was going to say a good answer, but since he called the bank and could not get a price because of the outdated book I moved it up to Excellent. He gave me some things to ask and consider. Thanks CaptJohn
