Does anyone have any opinions either way on the guilt and/or innocence of Mumia Abu Jamal, the accused killer of Philadelphia City Patrolman Daniel Faulkner? This is a very explosive issue that surely merits some though-provoking discussion......

I'm afraid I am not familiar with this case either. Is there someplace to go which has more information on the situation? I suppose I just don't 'get out much', as I am involved in cases in a more 'local arena'.

Michael,
probably the best encapsualtion of the case (though very slanted as it represents the viewpoint only of the accused) can be found in eBay. A promotional CD is for sale to raise funds for Abu Jamal's defense, and the item number is 282054641. Again, this is a view from the accused's perspective. There is, of course, another side to the story......

I would be very interested in hearing the story and the issue. And certainly, I'm not too keen of aiding the defense without knowing a bit about the case. Frankly, unless the officer was using or about to use unnecessary deadly force, Abu Jamal has no defense. Of course, this is a personal opinion.
