I am doing a report on the affects of teens on other teens and the discrimination that goes on with the diversity of people. Not just ethnic groups but cliques and groups.(preps, jocks, stoners). I have an article that I plan on bringing up in my speech and paper but I really dont have the background to analize it. Here are a few things I highlighted that I thought were important.
1. He was a pudgy 17 year old 2. Ridiculed by classmates 3. Yearned to kill 4. Quoted "I hate people so much I would be willing to kill them. 5. Quoted "I don't see me having a very happy life." he said. "I'm not happy new."
I was wondering if you could take a look at it in the following website.
http://www.gopbi.com/news/2000/03/03/teendiary.html Otherwise a breif description of things that may trigger depression would be fine.
I just need to figure out something catchy to say that will make people think. I don't know how something could trigger something inside a person to make them kill.
Thanks so much.

There are a lot of trigger mechanisms for depression and homocidal tendencies.
If someone does not feel right about themselves, they can get a lot of various behavior patterns to try to compensate for the ill feelings about themselves.
A good thing to have might be some testimonials from people who have gone through the problems associated with the teen years and how they coped with them and where they are now.
I hope this has given you some ideas.

Answer short but to the point. All it took was one sentence and I understood so much more.
