Where can I find statistics represented visually about depression either in the form of a graph or chart or picture?

Hi, lori31 --
That's kind of a vague request. Is this for a school project or homework or something like that? You will need to be more specific -- do you want statistics, say, like how many men/women/children experience depression in a certain part of the US in a year's time?
There's a library reference book called the Statistical Abstract that has charts of facts and figures on mental health/illness, traffic accidents, shootings, etc. Check with a reference librarian to see that book and others that have pie charts and graphs. A psychology/abnormal psychology textbook will have photos, drawings, and charts for all kinds of mental illness including depression. Is there a library in your high school or a nearby college that might have all sorts of psych texts in their collections? Or a college bookstore should have textbooks available. I checked online a bit and didn't find anything worthwhile on Internet, though there might be something there. I can keep looking...
Let me know if I should continue to check Internet or if there is anything else I can do to help.
