Thanks for all the support, out there(both private and public). Only helpline decided to hammer me,but that was done privately...so i appreciate that,at least. I was surprised by the support from the field, thankyou. Any defensiveness I might have previously displayed is well warranted, but not privy to all of you. So thankyou and for all those who do value my advice and any help I can offer you, please ask away privately.
Also thankyou anonymous for replying so kindly privately. You're apology is accepted.
Curious about my stats? So long as you're willing to provide me with an email address I will gladly make use of a scanner and email them to you.
Be good,Be Well, Larry

I never thought anything negative about you. I guessed I missed something as usual. What happened? Thanks

It's all the boards,I recieved a lot of hate mail in response to one of my answers concerning a women who was indecisive about ECT. As you may or may not realize, our philosophies are different. I'm not a psychiatrist or psychologist. But I consider myself an expert on the subject, just the same. Happy reading.
larrybergen asked this follow-up question on 4/15/2000:
I'm a scientologist ,which is the antithesis of both psychiatry and drug therapies. So we're from two different universes, you and I. Which is fine,I'm not here to attack anybody personally. I was a former psyche student myself, and have studied the mental health,"religiously",for seven years. I started out in pychology ten years ago looking to help others...but alas, what I saw I could not call help. Since then I've studied there crimes against humanity across the globe. These are real court cases, real malpractice suits, real documentation writ from the courts of the ableist countries in the world. For more on the details,if you are willing to learn, check out scientology.org. There is much evidence there to sift through as well as the beliefs of the church. There is a good FAQ there as well.
God is not the only one watching, abusive and barbaric treatments won't continue for ever, not with watchdog groups like the cchr (cchr.org/.com; not sure of the extention). I certainly won't watch it happen and sit idley by as a spectator of mass murder. There are tens of thousands of cases and examples! Funny how one person gets burned by a cup of coffee at McDonalds, and the country knows about it. Yet the same papers bury these court cases and there is no to little public outcry. So,I choose to outcry, and if three out of ten people care to listen, then I've saved some people some heartache and a future of pain, as well as there possible lives

I don't know about the universe thing, but methadone is NOT given the credit it deserves and NO, the medical community still treats it as though it is taboo. Actually we even have a watchdog site(not me personally)for MMTPatients. We are quite aware of the problems.
I guess I do what I can from what I have experienced and seen. Psychology used today is still pretty ancient & pretty much of a joke. I have seen plenty of abuse being in-patient as much as I have and I don't intend to sit idly by either. As long as we all do our part I guess nobody can judge us & have it mean anything really. Except to them.
Good Luck I am spiritual too, I just choose my own ways & don't push them on others. To each her own.
