I'm being treated for depression with celexa (citalopram). I have been taking augmentin for bronchitis and had also done some over-the-counter sudafed and Afrin for congestion. Also, I have been stealing my daughter's ritalin, grinding it up, and snorting it. Last week I had a few angry outbursts. Could the interaction of these drug have resulted in the anger or does celexa have those side effects alone? I'm on 20 mg.

okay, in all honesty, i am not a physician, nor am i ever gonna be, what i tell you comes from personal experience and what i have studied. as far as i know celexa does not cause outbursts. in my opinion i would think the source was the mixture of the cold medicines, celexa and of course the ritalin. i know from my high school days that ritalin on its own can cause outbursts when more than the recommended dosage is taken.. so this might be it, so you probably shouldnt do that anymore, even if its not the direct cause. you should always check with a doctor(therapist or personal physician) when you are taken more than one medication at a time. sometimes they dont mix well, even if one seems harmless. this could be a serious health hazard. in any case, be sure to talk to your doctor about this and even tell him about the ritalin thing, so he can better assess yor situation, giving you more info on celexa's side effects, and what other drugs you should avoid while on it.
