It was therefore a vast coincidence that some mysterious, unknown agency with money, time, and manpower is working very, very hard to make the newsgroup difficult for people to read. Just who the well-funded, well-manned agency is is a very great mystery--- damned if I can figure out who has the motive, methods, and opportunity to do such a thing. Maybe it's the Shriners? Or the Anabaptists? Or Mother Theresa. For all I know if could be Orenthal Simpson out there trying to find The Real Killers©® and he somehow messed up his internet search software. Beats me who would do such a thing against the newsgroup! Maybe you have some idea.

And yet it is occuring; it is therefore a violation of the innate, god-given right of every human being to speak as she or he pleases, freely and without undue or a priori restraint (there are justifiable limits on free speach: those limits do not apply here). Since the right to speak freely is the bedrock of a sane, healthy democratic republic, I have joined the fight against the attack against a.r.s.

Therefore it was the attack against the newsgroup alt.religion.scientology that "drew me in" and FORCED me to become a critic of the business. Up until I learned of the attack against the newsgroup (which then lead me to learn about Scientology®) I was an agressive, active supporter of Scientology® Inc. and I had often defended the business as a "minority religion" that was being unfairly "persecuted" by bigots. I was ignorant; now I know better.

The reason this site exists is therefore simple: This web site documents the attack against free speech occuring on the newsgroup by an unknown organization who appears to hate and fear what the contributors in the newsgroup have to say about Scientology®'s many gross human rights violations.
