A Private Investigator researched one of the phone numbers that one abused ISP alledged was used to commit the Sporgery attack. My Declaration was used in an attempt to refute (prove false) the allegation: Scientology® Inc. managed to prevent the gathering of evidence that would have been used to prove the allegation false. If Scientology® Inc. is truthful when claiming they had nothing to do with the attack, why did they prevent the acquisition of evidence that would prove their innocence?

Then someone named Tory Christman (aka Tory Magoo, aka Tory Bezazian) came along and claimed she helped Scientology Inc.'s GO/OSA (the department within Scientology Inc. assigned to commit crimes) attack the newsgroup via the sporgery flood (among other acts). She has been a Scientologist for thirty years, and her claim appears (to me, though I could be wrong) to be genuine.

Ms. Christman related how she acquired ISP dial-up accounts for Scientology's GO/OSA to be used in the sporgery attack. She was not told what the Internet accounts would be used for. She later visited a.r.s. to see what the accounts were being used for, and was shocked and dismayed. She later clarified some issues regarding GO/OSA and secrecy on the matter. She also likened the sporgery attack to clumsy terrorism. Warrior commented on the problems caused by the Scientology "Op."

The volume of the abuse is about 170,000,000 bytes a month. Statistics for July 1999 show 44,075 (detected) forged denial of service sporgeries (details by posting domain are here). It is probably illegal to use another person's name in most USA states.

Note to all ISPs: the crime syndicate uses false ID and untraceable money orders to acquire dial-up access from which they inject their sporgeries.

UPDATE: as of Thursday March 23 2000 a.r.s. is still under attack by the crime syndicate. As usual, goons have been flooding the newsgroup with off-topic propaganda, trying to make the newsgroup unreadable. The Usenet Newsgroup alt.religion.scientology has been under attack from the Scientology® "church" since the newsgroup's inception. Over the past four or so years, this attack has taken a few different forms.

Scientology® had one of their barrators, Helena Kobrin issue "remove group" commands to Usenet, to delete the newsgroup from tens of thousands of newsgroup servers. The vast majority of these servers ignored the command: they are generally configured to ignore the command when the newsgroup is active. "Remove group" commands have been issued against alt.religion.scientology several times, as well as related newsgroups such as talk.scientology
The Scientology® business issued "cancel article" commands, deleting articles people had posted which explained Scientology® "secrets." The business claims they hold the copyright to what was posted, even though the vast majority of articles they canceled were well within the "Fair Use" doctrine. The real reason for the articles being canceled were, of course, to hide from current and potential victims the truth of what they are buying when they give their money, time, and lives to Scientology®. One meta-example was when a critic posted three sentences from a book of thousands, wherein Hubbard (the business's founder) told his victims to go to the zoo and converse with the animals there via telepathy; and to talk to plants and wait for a reply. When several readers replied to the message, quoting the three sentences, their articles were canceled by the business. If the potential victims of Scientology® knew what they were getting into before they paid for it or worked as slaves for it, they wouldn't get into Scientology® in the first place. The Internet in general, and the newsgroup alt.religion.scientology in particular, allow potential and current victims to learn about the falsehoods, lies, and danger of Scientology® before it is too late.
Invaded the homes of critics, with armed police, and confiscated computer equipment--- under the guise of "protecting their copyrights and trade secrets." In fact, the only "crime" these people had committed was to speak critically of Scientology® on the internet and in the a.r.s. newsgroup.
Flooded alt.religion.scientology with tens of thousands of the same articles. The business took about 20 paragraphs from the propaganda book What is Scientology® and spammed the shit out of the newsgroup. Each paragraph was posted hundreds of times a week, forcing valid articles off of the world's NNTP servers (this attack is called "vertical spamming"). This was an effort to silence the truth by shouting lies louder than the truth. Here is a call for Scientology to stop the abuse.
Posting "Dead Agent" propaganda on the newsgroup. The business posted slanderous allegations against critics in the newsgroup, hoping to tarnish their character so that they would not be taken seriously. In all cases the slander was well beyond believable, and the dead agenting attack failed. Hubbard ordered such abuse under what he called "Fair Game."
Forged well over 1,000,000 articles in the newsgroup. The criminals are currently flooding the newsgroup with articles that have critic's names and addresses in the headers, and either empty message content (no bodies) or neo-Nazi messages appended to them. The criminals hope to make the critics appear to be neo-Nazi racist skinhead bigots by forging these articles in the critics' names. Fortunately, these articles are being canceled as fast as they are being posted. Here are a few thousand headers in a PKZIP archive. Agents for Scientology® know how to post forged usenet articles: something the crime syndicate once claimed, in front of a judge, was impossible.

These web pages deal with number 6 above: forged articles. Below you will find a list of some of the Internet Service Providers from which the criminals are posting these forged articles. NOTE THAT THE LIST IS NOT COMPLETE! I have only listed the latest ISPs.

Also note that for the ISPs that I have included headers, I have only counted articles that had not been canceled yet: this means that where I might show a count of 100 for an ISP, there was probably a much larger number of forged articles actually posted--- this is because I only show the articles that the various cancel robots MISSED. Collection date started on December 10, 1998GC.

Here is a sample of a forged article's header. The Internet Service Provider is found on the NNTP-Posting-Host line ("henge.com" in this example). The name, address, and subject were all taken from a real article Rev Dennis once posted. Note that the criminals have added a double space in the subject line: they insert the double space so that their softwear knows not to use their forgery's header to create another forgey, plus their article-reading softwear can use the double space to know to skip over the article because the double space flags it as a crime syndicate forgery. The Message-ID is a forgery, showing the posted date, nine or ten digits, and a false domain name.

Scientologers in ARS have been posting articles by the tens of thousands that support neo-Nazi hatred; the supremacy of "white, Aryan" people; denial that the Holocaust occured; and messages that denounce "The Jew" as perfidious and evil and the source of all the world's ills. While the Scientologists who are posting these articles may believe these things (it's their right), it is not their right to post their beliefs under the names of the critics of Scientology®'s criminal and unethical behavior.
