We've put up a more complete set of wedding photos at http://www.gerryarmstrong.org/50grand/writings/historical/apollo-wedding1.html
The wedding was on December 10, 1974, in Freeport in the Bahamas. The ceremony and party afterward are in the Main Dining Room. A number of the wedding party photos are in the A Deck and Prom Deck foyers and Hubbard's Dining Room.
Perhaps someone can confirm that it's Lisa Caetano in a few of the photos, and we'll take out the question marks (??) after her name. E.g., http://www.gerryarmstrong.org/50grand/writings/historical/apollo-wedding16.html
Also the young lady I think is a Cusworth (maybe Marion Cusworth) at: http://www.gerryarmstrong.org/50grand/writings/historical/apollo-wedding24.html
If these are Bitty Blythe and Tony Strawn here: http://www.gerryarmstrong.org/50grand/writings/historical/apollo-wedding27.html
And the two girls dancing here: http://www.gerryarmstrong.org/50grand/writings/historical/apollo-wedding29.html
And if any other crew can be identified we would be grateful.

I think that what you're looking at is in part a standard CMO "beingness." It's a combination of "ethics presence," "keeping your TR's in," and the often joylessness of Sea Org existence.
Never getting enough sleep can also put a crimp in your grins.
The Barnett sisters it seemed almost always had a glumness or even surliness to them. For the other messengers I think smiles came and went, but were influenced by trying to maintain their CMO presence.
> And how did everyone get time off to attend?
Not everyone did of course. There were over 400 people on board at the time, and there's only a portion of them here.
But people got time off because it was a big event on the ship. Hubbard was there, and his top messenger, the CO CMO, was getting married.
Plus, there'd be champagne and dancing, so many people would make time to party.
>Were many weddings like this held and video'd?
Not during that period certainly. This was special because it was Terri, and because Hubbard would be amongst the ordinary folk to give away the brides.

Yes, he's a good guy guy. We swapped e-mails a few years back. He was back in South Africa, and I think working with in a program helping AIDS patients, but I lost contact with him in the last perhaps five years.
