For reasons I won't go into now I won't be there for an Afternoon with Gerry Armstrong. I will, however, open the Edgewater Room (the room with the Farside ® kind of name) to all of those people who would have attended whether or not I had in fact been there. And they can do therein whatever they would have if it had turned out precisely the way it did. It's a place for folks to meet and hang and talk and gather before going to dinner Friday evening.
It's my contribution to the folks who comprise the spirit of this Lisa McPherson Memorial Gathering. I know the criminal cult, whose presence as an unregenerate criminal cultishness in Clearwater we protest, will insist that my renting the Edgewater room is under the direction of the Lisa McPherson Trust; thus, no matter how idiotic it sounds, I must state in advance of such standardly insane $cientology insistence, that my rental and intended use of the Edgewater Room was my own idea and my own decision. Well, God's, of course.
I've also sent along, and entrusted to Jeff, a batch of what I call LISAMCPHERSONMEMORIALMINTCHOCOLATECHIPDELIGHTS ® for the good folks who show up for this amazing phenomenon, now in its, what, fifth year? I would love to be there, especially because this easily could be the last ever Lisa McPherson Memorial Picket in Clearwater (the cult is clearly capable of contemplating complete capitulation) but I can't. I will, however, watch everything I can; so I want to thank, sincerely, the camera wogs ®, the computer wogs ®, and all the wogs ® who, through their willingness to interact with and about $cientology, create these recordable events.
And speaking of Jeff, a few words of thanks for being there and communicating through all of these Memorial Pickets, and being an unabashed zealot for Gandhi Tech. Thanks to everyone who stands up at any time in this strange War Against Tyranny (WAT?). Thanks to everyone who makes all of this work.
One last thought. $cientology's attack on wogs ® who participate in the Lisa McPherson Memorial Protest & Picket is that "these folks never knew Lisa McPherson." Let us then get to know Lisa McPherson. We wogs ® know how to know her. We have our knowledge of Lisa McPherson to share, and seek to know more. We increase our understanding by communicating freely about Lisa McPherson. We welcome $cientologists to communicate freely about Lisa McPerson too. Wogs ® can know Lisa McPherson as surely as $cientologists can know L. Ron Hubbard.
Edgewater Room, Holiday Inn, Clearwater, Florida, 1 - 5 PM, Friday, November 1, 2000. A place for folks to meet and hang and gather and talk about everything related to Lisa McPherson.
I didn't want to say anything about the MINTCHOCOLATECHIPDELIGHTS until they were a done deal. Never praise a cookie until it's baked; or, as the Spanish say, so I've been told, never praise a bridge until you've crossed over it. The Bridge to OT is in doubt. Cookies are for certain.
